How often should I change the UV-C lamp?

What is AllClean UV-C?

AllClean UV-C is a UV-C sanitizer used for sanitizing headphones and audiometric equipment between uses. This unit utilizes a high-intensity UV-C lamp to reduce 99.97% of bacteria, specifically Staphylococcus Aureus. We currently have two models available: one for wall-mounting and a portable model for use at different locations.

What products is this unit made for?

AllClean UV-C was designed for sanitizing headphones and their accompanying headband, along with other audiometric testing equipment, such as bone vibrators, otoacoustic emission probes, headsets used in impedance testing, insert earphones, and response buttons.

Are there adjustable pegs? How does this work?

Yes. Depending on the product you would like to sanitize, you may prefer to adjust the pegs. If you prefer to move these, simply unscrew the pegs, and screw them into the slots you would like. There are 4 total available slots–2 on each side of the bulb. Units come with 2 pegs already inserted into the two inner slots.

How do I know it’s working?

When you plug in your unit, there will be a white light illuminating the power button to show the unit is in standby mode. Once you press the power button, the power button will turn blue to indicate the UV-C cycle has begun. A blue countdown timer will start for 3 minutes. Once the cycle is over, the power button will turn white (standby mode) and the countdown timer will turn off.

What are the dimensions?

The portable model measures 14.875″ L x 15.75″ H x 5.875″ while the wall mount model measures 14.875″ L x 15.25″ H x 5.875″.

How long does it take to sanitize?

Each cycle runs for a total of 3 minutes. There is a digital countdown timer, so you are able to see how much time is left in the cycle.

What is the reduction rate?

The UV-C lamp reduces 99.97% of bacteria, specifically Staphylococcus Aureus.

What is the warranty?

We offer a 1-year limited manufacturer’s warranty.

Can I purchase a replacement 24V power cord?

Yes, you can order a replacement power cord by contacting us. We recommend only using the provided power cord or a replacement purchased from us.
